Nicole has been a student of yoga for over 25 years. Her joy and love for the practice inspired her to begin to teach. She attended her first training in 2008 and had been trained in various styles throughout the years. Her personal style of teaching is both yin and yang, energizing and relaxing. Each class varies between Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin and are usually determined by the needs of the students present. She teaches a slow moving class great for beginners. She guides her classes intuitively and compassionately, taking time to answer questions and explain the philosophy of Yoga, which is a lot more than poses on our mat. At the end of each class a mantra is repeated, “Peace Begins With Me”. Nicole is a CYT200 w/ special training in Therapeutic & Pre/Postnatal Yoga with a focus on a Trauma-Informed approach. She welcomes every body in her classes and provides a safe and brave space to step out of your comfort zone. Her certifications come from It’s Yoga, Britt Fohrman Yoga, Yoga Garden of SF, and Soma Yoga Institute; San Francisco and the Big Island.
